Subject: Lotus Notes Upgrade ( silent) from 6.5.6 to 8.5.2
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Notes Client
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.2
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hi all,
I am planning to upgrade all our Client environment from 6.5.6 to 8.5.2 ( Basic) using the Windows group policy and using below command line

msiexec /i "Lotus Notes 8.5.2.msi" SETMULTIUSER=1 /qn"

But what happening is that it is not upgrading the existing installation rather install new client ( asking for reconfiguration of settings)
on below location
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Lotus\Notes\Data\Shared\

Our target is to upgrade the client keeping existing settings intact and using start up script ( silently)

Current installation is in "c:\lotus\notes\data" folder

Looking forward for your support.

Thanks
